The City of Prague

Prague is the capital city and the largest city in the Czech Republic. It includes 1,21 million people located in a small area of 496 square km. This city is the biggest tourist spot in the Czech Republic therefore there are many different activities to enjoy. The three most interesting activities would be visiting the Prague Castle, Old Town Square, and also the Charles Bridge.
The Prague Castle
The Prague Castle is the most visited sight in Prague and is also considered to be the largest castle in the world because it is (570 m long, on average 128 m wide, area 7.28 hectares). The castle has three beautiful courtyards. This Castle has had four major reconstructions, but it keeps its original form it took on in the 18 century.
Old Town Square

The Old Town Square is the most important square of the historical Prague and the oldest. The Old Town Square was founded in the 10 th century as a place, where various goods from countries were sold to local people. It is bounded with several historical buildings such as the Old Town City Hall with the famous Astronomical Clock, the impressive St. Nicholas Church and many houses and palaces. It has been a centre of Prague Old Town since the middle ages.
The Charles Bridge
The Charles Bridge is over the river Vltava. It is definitely one of the most beautiful places in Prague. It is the oldest bridge and the most breathe taking place in the city. This bridge was built between the 14 th and 15 th century. It includes statues and lamps along it. This scenery plus the Gothic bridge towers on both ends makes the Charles Bridge a beautiful historical monument. There is no better place in Prague for a walk in the evening.
